Two Whitworthians are busy creating new projects and sharing their artistic skills with the public this summer as Artists-In-Residence for The Hive, part of the Spokane Public Library.
Justus Brozek is a printmaker who holds a master of fine arts and intersects with the Whitworth community in multiple ways. He is both a printmaking instructor for the Whitworth Art & Design Department and an advisor for adult students in the School of Continuing Studies. He explores Christian identity and social media in his artwork.
Jaime Rome Crain ’22 is a fine artist whose oil paintings explore the beauty and power of the human mind. She majored in art and graphic design at Whitworth and has worked as a professional artist since graduating. Her work is also featured at Emerge gallery in Coeur d’Alene this month.
If you’re in Spokane, look for workshops led by Justus and Jaime at The Hive through September!
