What a special day at Whitworth last Friday as we commissioned three outstanding officers, including our first-ever Air Force ROTC cadet.
- Ethan Richardson (Air Force) is Whitworth’s first Air Force ROTC cadet. After 15 years of service in the U.S. Air Force as an avionics technician with assignments across the globe, Richardson has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force. He will serve as a 17X cyber operations officer and begin tech school at Keesler Air Force Base this fall.
- Winter Johnsen (U.S. Army), a biology graduate, has been commissioned into the Chemical Corps. She will attend BOLC at Fort Leonard Wood and aspires to pursue medical school.
- Zachary Tincher (Army National Guard), a criminology & criminal justice graduate, has been commissioned as a second lieutenant and will serve as a field artillery officer. He will attend BOLC at Fort Sill early next year and plans to serve his community as a firefighter before then.
Congratulations to these remarkable leaders as they begin their journey of service. We are so proud of you!
